Recent News for Our Law Office

Ryan and Trey have represented clients all the way through jury trials in civil cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, psychiatric malpractice, day care negligence, and injuries such as wrongful death, disfigurement and permanent brain injury.  Over the years we have helped clients win millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts.  In criminal cases, we have defended clients all the way through jury trial against charges of DUI, Domestic Battery, Criminal threat, Robbery, Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Rape, Sodomy, other sexual assaults, Drug Charges including Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Marijuana and many other crimes.  The results?  Numerous "Not Guilty" verdicts.

Of course, these results, and any past case results listed within this web site, do not guarantee results in future cases.  Trey and Ryan have dedicated their law practice to helping good people through difficult times. We continue to focus on criminal defense but accept about five serious personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases at a time. We are extremely selective about what cases we accept because the cases we do accept demand a lot of attention...they are also cases that demand justice for a family or for someone who was injured or killed. We have represented people in these critical cases on numerous occasions all the way through settlement or trial to a jury. We know what it takes to win.

In other recent news, Trey was just selected as one of the top attorneys in Kansas and Missouri by SuperLawyers 2009. Only the top 5% of lawyers are selected for this honer.  Trey was selected for his work doing criminal defense, DUI defense and Serious Personal Injury cases.  In 2009, Trey was also selected for the Johnson County Bar Association's President's Award.  In addition to his work in Court, Trey is proud to announce the publication of a book he recently co-wrote with four other attorneys, Witness Preparation and Examination for DUI Proceedings published by Aspatore Books in 2009.
