Criminal Defense ● Personal Injury
Our practice focuses on just two areas: criminal defense and representing people who have suffered serious personal injury or wrongful death. If you have a case in one of these areas, you need an attorney who has experience and skill in court.
If you want a Criminal Defense Attorney who has extensive defense and prosecution experience...who has handled and won a lot of trials from both sides, call the Law Offices of N. Trey Pettlon. Or if you want a Personal Injury Attorney who has settled and tried numerous personal injury cases successfully to a jury, call the Law Offices of N. Trey Pettlon. Both lawyers are life long residents of the area. Trey grew up in Clay County, Missouri, aspired to be a lawyer from an early age, and was a successful high school debater. While attending Washburn Law School, Trey was very successful in Moot Court and won the chance to argue before Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in New York. During law school, Trey also served as an intern in DA Gene Olander's acclaimed internship program conducting trials including jury trials. After graduating from law school, Trey became an Assistant District Attorney at the Johnson County DAs Office where he gained invaluable trial experience and the opportunity to meet Judges, prosecutors and all the best attorneys. He left the DA's office to in March of 1994 to begin private practice. Trey has since won verdicts in numerous criminal, wrongful death and personal injury jury trials.
